I came across this article from eWeek where ‘power users’ discuss the lack of the iPhone…First of all how do you define a Power User ?The folks they’re mentionning are may be known for what they created but why are they power users when compared to anyone else ?The only statement in the article that I agree with is about the lack of search in Mail… in fact a lack of search overall : but that one I am hoping that Apple is going to fix it in an upcoming software update.The article goes over Mobile Safari and call it “clunky” : sorry folks but on a device like that I don’t think there is any other browser that is close to Safari…Yes it may not be the most optimal but then please tell us how you will describe all the other browsers ?Safari on the phone is doing an amazing job, and let you basically carry the web all the time and not a downgraded version… so clunky I don’t think is the word!And again they don’t even consider that the iPhone is a 1.0 version… It does not come to their mind that in order to make the device better, the only way to improve it is to release it and get feedback.
